Zak Roams

My recent visual identity project for Melbourne music producer Zak Roams (Zackary Harris) was a defining moment in my career.

 

After speaking with Zak, a decision was made

to focus on the word “roams” as a sense of wonder,  without a clear goal.

To explore this idea, I began experimenting, forming the artist’s name in armature wire, the identity became tangible and provided scope for twists and turns, and the opportunity to introduce elements such as light to create shadow forms. Concluding experimentation,

I refined the identity digitally, creating a bespoke symbol with multiple layers of meaning.
